A Bad Ending to a Bad, Bad Day

Monday was not a good day at all in the Clutts home. Daddy was taking Rayann to camp and the boys got into the sugar so nothing I said was even heard. Just as Daddy was driving up and I was closing the washer door I heard crying from the kitchen. I ran in to find Rachel crying Luke saying she tripped. I scooped Rachel up grabbed a paper towel and ran to meet Daddy at the door. We all took a deep breath and sat on the couch to see the damage. When I pulled back the paper towel I couldn't see the right front tooth. I couldn't find it in the towel so we thought she must have swallowed it. After she calmed down she really wanted to go to sleep, but we wanted her to stay awake in case she hit her head hard enough to cause a concussion. I thought a popsicle of some sort might help her stay awake and help with the swelling. As I got off the couch to get it, the tooth fell onto the floor. I called a dentist who said that she should be fine since the whole tooth came out and was not shoved into the gum. The swelling should go down in the next few days and we could bring her in if we were still worried. Today she was fine and back to her normal self. The "toothfairy" was very good to her, she got a stuffed animal moose which she has fallen in love with.

Girls Camp

Rayann is planning her trip to Girls Camp next week. She is in full have to get away mode. Daddy is taking her with him on his weekly trip north to get her all her stuff. He is also going up for two days to supervise. I'm happy he gets to go spend time with Rayann but not looking forward to being alone with the younger kids and the business. I told him they better have cell coverage there. Just a quick update.....the drama continues.

Things that make you go URGH!!!

With everything in summer mode life has been crazy to say the least. Rayann is still working in housekeeping and watches her brothers and sister when she isn't cleaning rooms. John is still doing litter patrol but has lost his sidekick Luke due to a lack of attention on Luke's part. We'll try Luke next year. Rachel and Don are at the point where they let each other know their displeasure, usually with a push. Jesse is doing well keeping everything together. I try to make it as easy for him as I can. I'll try to get some pictures up soon.
