Do you do this too?

I was checking the blogs that I read daily. As if my life isn't exciting enough. I noticed that some haven't updated in a long time, then I realized that I hadn't update mine for a month. So before I get on my soapbox about how I don't talk to people on the phone so the blogs are the only news I get about family and friends. Let me update everyone on what my family has or is doing. Rayann did a great job filling in for R in the office. She is well on her way to having enough money to go to Florida, if she doesn't spend it all. She also made arraingments to do laundry for a gentleman staying in the hotel for an extended period of time. It has been about 2 small laods a week for which he pays her $40.00 . So that has become her spending money. John is still picking up trash, Luke is still Luke and teasing anyone who will let him. Rachel is Don's second mommy, he would talk alot more if she would let him. Don is a whole different post.
Jesse and I celebrated 15 years of marital "bliss". I am so thankful for him and our relationship.
I'm taking John and a friend to take the ferry to Seldovia which the cubscouts today so they should have lots of fun. I am also feeling the crucnh to get school supplies as school starts on the 20th. I'm in denial about having a High School Freshman. Where does the time go?
OK People, may you be inspired to blog away and let me have something new and exciting to read. Love you all

Red, White & Blue

John and Luke rode the Cub Scout float in the parade. That float won the best float. Jesse, Rayann & Rachel walked in the parade for one of Alaska's senators. Don & I had fun watching everyone go by. Overall it was a good day.

See Daddy..See Daddy run..Run Daddy run

On June 28th Jesse ran in the Homer Spit Run. It is a 10K race. This year there were 250 runners who finished between 30 mins to 2 1/2 hours. Jesse finished 135th with a time of 1 hour 4 minutes.
